ALL SURF LEVELS WELCOME

 

From our accommodation it takes you only five minutes by boat or bike to reach a variety of different waves suitable for all levels, either beginner, intermediate or expert

 

There are beginner spots with punchy reef breaks with easy paddle, 6 waves right here down the beach, the surf breaks that works in almost all conditions and suits most levels!

 

The best way to get started is in a safe and easy environment. In our vicinity there are several beaches with the most suitable conditions for all surfing levels.

 

Our ISA (International Surfing Association) certified surf instructors teach you the right technique from day one and correcting you in and out of the water. We have adapted the ISA curriculum to the great conditions here in Lembongan, allowing us to move forward at good pace while maintaining the key points of teaching.

 

• Learn to Surf

 

Beginner Surf Course - Level 1

 

As a beginner, our surf course will teach you the basics of surfing as a sport. You’re supposed to be able to swim. Even if you’ve never seen the sea before, we guarantee that we will make you stand on a board and be able to surf a wave. That is our commitment and our mission.

 

You will learn how to handle the board in the water, where should you place yourself when you are in the sea, how to lie on the board, how to paddle to catch your waves, and how to stand up. You will also learn techniques to clear the break-point and surge to the crest of the wave.

 

Intermediate Surf Course - Level 2

 

To be part of the intermediate surf course, you’re supposed to have surfed before and to be able to stand on the board on most of your attempts. You’re also supposed to be able to paddle up to the waves, which should not exceed one meter or, at least not rise further than your chest.

At this stage in your progress, you will learn to take the drop when surfing green waves and to descend to the base of the wave. The most important maneuvers at this stage, preceding all others, are to be able to do a bottom turn, i.e., to turn at the base of the wave. Only when you are skilled at this technique will you be able to move forward to other kind of maneuvers such as the off-the-lip, the cutback and floater, and other maneuvers.
